What provisions are being made for electricity and shelter?
No electricity or shelter/tents will be provided to vendors. Vendors with generators will be placed in designated areas away from judges and contestants.
When may I set up?
Set up will be coordinated with Vendor Coordinator: Terri Warner, warndawg@rmi.net or 2011finals@gmail.com
You must be set-up by Thursday, September 15, 2011, 9 a.m.
When may I break-down?
After final run, Sunday, September, 18, 2011
May I select my booth location?
No. Booth locations will be at the discretion of 2011 National Sheepdog Finals Vendor Coordinator: Terri Warner, warndawg@rmi.net or 2011finals@gmail.com
Where will I be able to camp and park?
Vendor camping will be in designated area to be determined by Vendor Coordinator. Parking will not necessarily be next to booth. No electricity will be provided.
What are the hours I will be allowed to stock my booth?
Please stock booths before 8 a.m. or after 5 p.m.
What do I need to include with my Vendor Application?
- A full description of menu items/merchandise to be sold at the trial
- Photographs of merchandise and booth set-up
- Signed Agreement and Waiver & Release
- Check Payable to “Strang Ranch National Sheepdog Finals LLC”
- Copy of your Colorado Sales Tax License (or Colorado Special Events License)
- Copy of your Food Service License (food booths only)
Will it be possible for my pets to hang out with me at my booth?
Please do not bring your pets. The Colorado State Health Department has notified us that pets are not allowed in food preparation and serving areas. If cited the Health Inspector can expel violators from the trial.

2011 National Sheepdog Finals
Our mission is to provide unique and quality merchandise and food for spectators and participants at the 2011 National Sheepdog Finals. Vendor applications will be juried by July 1st.
All application checks will be cashed upon receipt, refunds will follow jury selection.

Deadlines: Applications Due - June 1, 2011, All application checks will be cashed upon receipt.
Jury Selection - July 1, 2011 *vendor fees will be refunded if not selected
Refund Deadline – August 1, 2011
Electricity and Shelter: No electricity or shelter/tents will be provided to vendors.
Generators MUST be quiet, Honda Super Quiet EU Series 2000,3000 etc is preferred
Generator make model must be declared on Vendor Application.

**Must be set-up by Thursday, 9/15/2011, 9 a.m.
Booth Requirements: In an attempt to keep our event tidy and presentable, all vendors must store generators, boxes and supplies BEHIND their booth, and must be out of sight from the service side of your booth. We require a “blind” or tarp blocking view of these items.
Breakdown Times: AFTER Open Finals 4pm, Sunday, September, 18, 2011
Encouraged to stay through Nursery Finals, Tuesday, Sept. 20, 2011
Hours of Operation: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Daily, Minimum requirement of Thursday 9/15 to Sunday 9/18
Stocking Booths: Before 8 a.m. or after 5 p.m.
Booth Assignment/Location: Sole discretion of 2011 National Sheepdog Finals, Vendor Coordinator

Sales Tax: Vendors are responsible for collecting sales tax and reporting it to the Colorado Department of Revenue. Special Event Retail Sales Tax Applications DR0589 and DR0098 are available through the Vendor Coordinator and or the Colorado Department of Revenue. Event taxes are
2.9% Colorado State Sales Tax
1% Garfield County Sales Tax
Food Vendors: All food vendors are required to have a Colorado Food Service License.

What does the vendor agreement, waiver & release say?
VENDOR AGREEMENT, WAIVER & RELEASE
In consideration of being accepted as a vendor at the 2011 National Sheepdog Finals, hereby agrees, waives claims and releases the Strang Ranch National Sheepdog Finals LLC as follows:
1. I have read and agree to the Vendor rules and agree to comply with them and with any additional rules the Strang Ranch National Sheepdog Finals LLC may post or assign to me. I accept that I may be denied access or expelled from the site for failure to comply.
2. I understand that my assistants and my property may be exposed to accident, theft, high wind or other Acts of God or other injury, loss or damage while I am present as a vendor at the 2011 National Sheepdog Finals. I understand that Strang Ranch National Sheepdog Finals LLC is not responsible for insuring me, my assistants or my property against any of the foregoing. For myself and for my employees/assistants I waive any claim of any nature I may have against Strang Ranch National Sheepdog Finals LLC, Strang Ranch or any person participating in or assisting with the 2011 National Sheepdog Finals arising out of or related to my participation as a vendor or my presence at the 2011 National Sheepdog Finals and hereby release from liability for all claims, damages, and causes of action that may arise from or be attributed to my participation as a vendor or presence otherwise at the 2011 National Sheepdog Finals. I personally assume all risks of injury to employees, assistants or me or damage to my property in connection with the 2011 National Sheepdog Finals.
3. I acknowledge that the 2011 National Sheepdog Finals and Strang Ranch National Sheepdog Finals LLC logo are trademarks and agree that I am not permitted to use the trademarks or to sell any item upon which such trademark appears unless I have been granted written permission to do so. I further understand that Strang Ranch National Sheepdog Finals LLC may, in its sole discretion, refuse a license to any vendor for any reason or for no reason at all.
4. I have read this Agreement, Waiver and Release before signing and understand its contents.
5. Failure to read the Vendor Rules is not defensible for failure to comply with such.
